Google Analytics with anonymization feature
We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA, 94043, U.S., hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files, that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of our website.
The information generated by these cookies, e.g. time, place and frequency of your website visit and your IP address, will be transferred to Google in the U.S. and stored there.
We use Google Analytics on our website. When using Google Analytics your IP address will be shortened by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and, thus, anonymized.
Google will use the aforementioned information in order to analyze your use of our website, to compile reports on web activities for us, and to provide other services related to the usage of the website and the Internet. Furthermore, Google may also transfer this information to third parties, in the event that this is required by law, or if third parties process this information on behalf of Google.
According to information published by Google, Google will not associate your IP address with other data collected by Google under any circumstances. You may prevent the placing of cookies by configuring the appropriate settings in your web browser software. Please note, however, that if you do this, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
If you have granted Google your consent to the linking of your web and app browser history with your Google account and the use of information from your Google account for the personalization of advertisements, Google will use your data in combination with Google Analytics data in order to generate audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google Analytics will initially capture your Google-authenticated ID on our website which is connected with your Google account (including personal data). Subsequently, Google Analytics will link your ID temporarily with your Google Analytics data in order to optimize our audiences.
If you do not agree, you may disable this function by configuring the corresponding settings in the “My account” section of your Google account.
Google Dynamic Remarketing
This website uses the Remarketing feature of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, U.S.; “Google“). This feature has the purpose of displaying ads to website visitors according to their interests within the Google Display Network. This technology enables us to place automatically generated, audience-specific ads following your visit on our website. The ads are based on products and services that you clicked on during your last visit of our website. For this purpose, a so-called cookie will be stored in the web browser of the website visitor that enables the recognition of the visitor when they access websites that belong to the Google Display Network. Cookies are small text files that are placed in your web browser while visiting our website. Google will store information such as your web query, the IP address, browser type, browser language, date and time of your query. This information serves the purpose of associating the web browser with a certain computer. As a result, it is then possible to display ads to the visitor on the pages of the Google Display Network that are related to contents that the visitor had requested from recently visited websites which use the Google Remarketing feature.
If you have granted your consent at https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated that Google may associate your web browser history with your Google account and that information from your Google account may be used for the personalization of ads, the Remarketing feature will also work device-independently. To this end, your Google ID will be captured by Google and used for the purpose of cross-device detection.
According to information published by Google, Google will not collect any personal data during this process at any time. However, if you should not wish the Remarketing feature of Google to be applied to your account, you may disable it by clicking on OPT-OUT .
You may also prevent the storage of cookies by configuring the appropriate settings in your web browser software. Please note, however, that if you do this, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
Among other components, the design of our website incorporates fonts provided by MyFonts Inc., 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, MA 01801, U.S. Due to this integration, data is retrieved from a MyFonts server when visiting our website, which means that this server and, thus, MyFonts will at least take notice of your IP address. Without your IP address, the MyFonts server would not be capable of sending font files to your web browser, i.e., your IP address is required for displaying type fonts.
Furthermore, MyFonts will usually also be informed that you retrieved the font via our website and will receive some technical information on your web browser, since almost any web browser automatically sends this information to the server. Some browsers allow the restriction or modification of data transmitted to the server, however, it depends on the publisher of the browser whether this is possible.
Even if the provider, i.e., MyFonts, requires the transferred data, in particular the IP address, only for delivering the retrieved contents, we have no knowledge and it is beyond our control to which extent MyFont uses this information for statistical analysis or stores it. In any case, our website also includes a visitor counter provided by MyFonts that records the number of visitors on our website. We are legally required to use this visitor counter due to our use of the fonts.
If you should not agree to the integration of these fonts, you may disable them by clicking on OPT-OUT . In that case, the contents may not be displayed correctly.
We maintain technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. All of our employees and service providers working for us are bound to compliance with the applicable data protection laws.
Data subject rights
Please contact us at any time if you wish to find out which personal data we have stored about you or if you wish to have data corrected or deleted.
